Lead Software Engineer - Platform

As part of the shift to LowCode/NoCode platforms for app development, developers and non-technical founders want to go-live with applications quickly. DevOps setup requires added expenses, hiring, and foresight into compliance requirements. Our infrastructure provisioning and operations platform helps them automatically set-up a well-architected cloud based infrastructure for their apps. Our founders experienced this problem firsthand at super{set} - where we have set-up 15 companies, each of which required dedicated early DevOps Engineers to provision infrastructure and guardrails. After identifying the repeatable aspects of this process, and incorporating best practices on scalability, security, compliance, and efficiency, we realized our product can be an in-house DevOps expert for every new cloud based startup.

It’s not an easy problem to solve, but we have some creative ideas. We’re early stage, well-funded, and determined.

We’re looking for someone to help the engineering team design scalable, efficient, and reliable automated solutions for SDLC that drive well-tested, high-quality code to production by creating various build and test frameworks, CI/CD infrastructure, and release process automation. The candidate should be a fast learner and enjoy working openly and collaboratively with a diverse team.

Our stack includes: Kubernetes, Docker, GCP, AWS, Terraform, Vault, Elasticsearch, Kafka, Postgres, Cassandra, and Golang.

WHAT YOU'LL DO/Your Impact:

• Work with your team to build tools to drive automation, monitoring, and instrumentation for reducing operational friction.
• Own your project, while checking in with other team members throughout the day with questions and updates
• Collaborate with product engineering to ensure code is production-ready
• Ensure reliability by testing unit, integration and load tests
• Participate in code reviews to ensure code quality and distribute knowledge
• Participate in the adoption of DevOps-first principles within the organization

WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR:

• Experience in Golang, Cloud Services - AWS/GCP/Azure and Kubernetes
• Excellent debugging, problem solving, and analytical skills.
• Outstanding interpersonal skills and communication with all levels of management.
• Understanding the pros and cons of all technology trends in your field.
